Podiatrists

Jack Fitzpatrick

Jack is one of the directors of Podium Podiatry. Appointments can be booked with Jack at our Wheelers Hill, Drouin and Bunyip clinics.

 

Jack Graduated from Latrobe University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Podiatry. Since graduating he has worked in private practice in West Gippsland, South-Eastern and Inner-Eastern suburbs. Jack enjoys all areas of Podiatry, taking a particular interest in sports Podiatry, biomechanics and orthotic prescription.

 

Jack’s interest in these areas is derived from his own sporting background. Jack played state representative basketball as a junior and has continued involvement in Australian rules football. For this reason he understands the pressures and demands placed on the body during sport and enjoys helping athletes perform to their highest ability. Jack also enjoys providing diabetic and general foot care.

Stuart Bastin

Stuart is one of the directors of Podium Podiatry. He is based at both the Drouin and Korumburra Clinics.

 

Stuart graduated from La Trobe University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Podiatry. After graduating he began working in aged care facilities, retirement villages and clinics located in the City of Casey and Cardinia shire. Twelve months after graduating Stuart took up the Senior Podiatrist role at the West Gippsland Healthcare Group (WGHG) providing services across the Baw Baw shire.

 

After three years at WGHG, Stuart decided to return to private practice, working in Berwick for two years before opening Podium Podiatry with Jack Fitzpatrick in 2014. Stuart loves to have a chat, his favourate topic usually involves sport. Stuart enjoys working with children, high risk feet and providing Diabetic Foot Care.

Jordan

After completing her studies in Albury-Wodonga, NSW at Charles Sturt University, Jordan is passionate about providing care to regional Victorians. Having practiced in a busy private practice in Traralgon and surrounds, Jordan brings a suite of skills and experience to treat and provide effective relief for a broad range of podiatric conditions affecting the lower limb. She has a special interest in musculoskeletal and lower limb injuries, orthotic therapy, paediatrics, pre-pointe assessments and injection techniques for painful feet. She also enjoys treating a wide range of skin and nail conditions including wart treatment and ingrown toenail management.

 

Jordan places a large emphasis on client outcomes and improving their health as part of their lifestyle. Jordan understands and appreciate that life exist outside of the clinic. Her passionate and personable nature enables her to provide holistic and person-centred care towards a diverse population to find the best possible treatment outcome for their needs.

 

Jordan is excited to be part of the podium podiatry team as this enables to her continually build her knowledge and skill though working closely with other skilled and highly regarded podiatrists. Being part of the team also means access to the latest evidence base treatments and technologies to be able to provide the highest quality of care to her patients.

 

Outside of work you will find Jordan enjoying a coffee at her local café or walking the beautiful Gippsland’s rail trails with her German Shepherd Dog “Charlie”.

Micaela

Micaela has worked at Podium Podiatry since 2020.

 

She works at both the Drouin and Bunyip Clinics on Mondays and Fridays.

 

Micaela graduated from La Trobe University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Podiatry.

 

She has worked in a large variety of health-care settings, public and private, metropolitan and regional, as a Registered Nurse and as a Podiatrist for over 25 years.

 

She enjoys all aspects of Podiatry but is particularly passionate about the ageing population and maintaining foot health and functionality, to assist in the achievement of healthy ageing.

 

She loves to have a chat, her favourite topics being her kids, her horses and country life.

Reception

Emma

Emma started at Podium Podiatry in 2015 as a trainee and have been here ever since. She was recently married her partner Nathan, and they have two children, Mia and Patrick who are are 4 and 2 years old.

 

Emma and Nathan brought their first home in Trafalgar in 2017, and hope to knock down and rebuild in the near future. She loves camping, and getting out and about on weekends when possible, we also hope to own our own caravan and go travelling in as a family.

 

Emma works as often as the face of our reception team as she does behind the scenes, helping Podium Podiatry run as smoothly as it does.

Courtney

Courtney joined our administration team at Podium Podiatry early 2021.

 

Courtney graduated from high school after completing her VCE Studies in 2020. She has a passion for helping others and enhancing the business culture which has led her to undertake further studies in health administration and medical sterilisation. Outside of work Courtney enjoys spending time with her family and friends, she loves to have a chat about anything, especially AFL.
